Terms of Service
The app
LIFT is a training, nutrition, recovery and cost-tracking app for iPhone, operated from the United Kingdom. By using LIFT you agree to these terms.
Not medical advice
LIFT is a tracking and planning tool, not a medical or dietetic service. Training programmes, nutrition targets, readiness scores and coaching text are general guidance calculated from the numbers you provide. They are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting a training or nutrition programme, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are under 18. Stop training and seek medical help if you feel unwell. You are responsible for training safely and within your limits.
Data accuracy
Nutrition data comes from public and commercial food databases and, where labelled, from estimates. Figures can be wrong or out of date — check the packet where precision matters (e.g. allergies, medical diets). Calorie-burn figures and derived metrics are estimates.
Subscription (LIFT Pro)
- LIFT includes a 30-day free trial starting when you first use the app. After it, continued use requires LIFT Pro: £4.99/month (or local equivalent).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. The subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms.
- Your logged data always remains yours and stays on your device/iCloud whether or not you subscribe.
Beta software
During the TestFlight beta, features may change, break or be removed, and LIFT Pro is not charged. Beta feedback you send us may be used to improve the app.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app, abuse the food-lookup or waitlist services, or use LIFT for anything unlawful.
Liability
LIFT is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect losses and for injuries or outcomes arising from training or dietary decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page and in release notes. Governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: hello@trylift.app.
